The Event Programs Editor manages multiple concurrent projects for Solution Tree’s events. Editors provide timely, complete, accurate, and high-quality Solution Tree event printed materials. The editor assembles, proofs, edits, and coordinates the production of event programs, pocket agendas, handouts, 2-day workshop programs, signage, and any other material requested by the Events Department. They work with event managers, various departments, world-renowned authors and presenters, and external partners to provide professional development for our global K–12 teacher colleagues and professional learning communities that ensure the success for all students.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
Superior communication, organization, empathy, and editing skills are essential, along with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat. Familiarity with Dropbox, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Keynote is a plus. A professional demeanor, aptitude in providing and accepting constructive feedback, and project management skills will prove indispensable to this position. Qualified applicants must demonstrate proficiency on an editorial test, and further training is provided upon employment. This position can be remote.
