Position summary

The Implementation Specialist is a member of the Professional Development Department, is on the project management team, and provides administrative support for our mid-sized and large-sized contracts. He/she will interact with project team members and our finance department to track all contracted products and services while making sure customers are billed properly. The Implementation Specialist is highly organized and focused on detail.  He/she has good communication skills and helps keep things on track.  

 

Summary of essential job functions

  • Ability to work in Excel using basic formulas to maintain data and tracking spreadsheets
  • Collect information about project progress and reconcile with budget documents
  • Create and maintain project dashboards
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance so that billing is clear and timely
  • Assist with workshop evaluation process management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and capture detailed information
  • Comfortable learning basic software programs
  • Demonstrate ability to understand company products and services
  • Schedule meetings with internal and external customers to support project objectives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with respect to product delivery
  • Create collaborative relationships with colleagues so that their confidence in you is second to none
  • Take on miscellaneous tasks as needed by the project management team
  • Ability to work effectively in a multiple-deadline environment

Minimum requirements

This is a full-time position based in Bloomington, Indiana.  As the Implementation Specialist, you will contribute to our goal of maintaining our position as the premier K–12 professional development provider in North America. Our company desires team members who have a customer service orientation, need little supervision, and are committed to team success. Candidates must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are critical.  The best candidate will have some office experience. Bachelor’s degree or some college is preferred.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
