Professional Development Account Manager
Position Summary:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about our vision and excited to join our team. Your focus will be providing the best customer service to our professional development hosts as well as our authors. You are organized, detail oriented and maintain excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders. You are someone who enjoys the details but is able to see the big picture at the same time. You will spend time getting to know our experts in order to match them to the best opportunities with our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics for a portfolio of business of up to $1.7 million
- Providing high quality customer service to our authors and Professional Development hosts
- Create contracts for professional development work
- Understand and convey company products and selling points
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to advance professional development work
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-deadline environment
Minimum Requirements:
This is a full-time position with minimal travel required. As the Account Manager, you will contribute to our goal of maintaining our position as the premier K–12 professional development provider in North America. The best candidate will have K–12 educational experience and/or relevant office experience. Our company desires team members who have a customer service orientation, need little supervision, and are committed to team success. Candidates must be self-motivated with an eye for detail and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities are critical. Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy are required. Bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
