Position Summary:

Solution Tree is seeking a full-time Warehouse & Logistics Associate to work closely with our Marketing and Events departments, as well as the company overall.  Responsibilities include:

  • Initiates bills of lading, wraps shipments and coordinates pick up for all events and tradeshows, including insuring timely follow-up with critical time sensitive shipments.  All shipments are indicated in a master spreadsheet that is properly maintained.
  • Works as back up in absence of Venture Warehouse Manager to ensure warehouse is organized, stock maintained at location and shipments sent in timely manner. Position is full time at our Venture local warehouse.
  • Ensure all book titles needed for the co-ops and book-in-bags are shipped and taken out of inventory timely and when show events return and orders processed-inventory is correctly put back in stock.  Needs to have a full understanding how to process inventory transfers and invoices in system and the impact.
  • Serve as a backup for order processing and inventory management.
  • Work with institutes’ team to ensure proper supplies are sent for events (includes petty cash).
  • Work with Event Logistics Specialist to coordinate handoffs.
  • Works with Inventory Coordinator to maintain correct inventory counts and returns processing
  • Other general office duties as assigned including, but not limited to, office supply ordering, and data collection, recording, and analysis. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, on-site position.  Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern time. 

Travel:

Overnight travel may be required once per year for our company-wide annual retreat, which typically takes place in January.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; College degree preferred but not required
  • Logistics experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Willing and able to work on-site at our warehouse and warehouse office in Bloomington, Indiana
