Position Summary:
As a Junior Salesforce Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's Salesforce implementation. You will be responsible for managing user accounts, configuring Salesforce settings, maintaining data integrity, and providing support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- User and License Management:
- Serve as the primary support for Salesforce users, troubleshooting and resolving user issues.
- Maintain system security, including user accounts, roles, profiles, and access permissions.
- Monitor user adoption
- Salesforce Configuration and Customization:
- Implement basic configuration changes (custom fields, page layouts, record types).
- Assist in developing workflows, process builders, and other automation tools to optimize business processes.
- Build and edit Flows to automate tasks.
- Create and update dashboards and reports.
- Data Maintenance and Monitoring:
- Conduct data cleansing and manage routine data updates and backups.
- Assist with data migration and import/export processes
- Perform data quality checks and correct errors.
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- Maintain data dictionaries and documentation.
- Training and Support:
- Create and maintain training materials and lead onboarding sessions for new users.
- Answer user questions and troubleshoot Salesforce issues.
- Create and update user guides and help documentation.
- Contribute to knowledge base development and maintenance.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field; or
1+ years of Salesforce administration experience. - Experience in managing Salesforce of a mid-size company (150 to 300 users).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Additional Considerations
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator) are a plus.
- A passion for technology and a desire to grow within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Experience with the 3rd party integration with Salesforce ecosystem is a plus
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Junior Salesforce Administrator must have excellent written, verbal, and auditory communication skills and ability. Some light lifting may be required.
Position Type
This is a full-time position. Days and hours are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work and travel as job duties demand.
Travel
Some overnight travel is required for this position, as in-person attendance is required at quarterly departmental meetings, occasional company events, and the annual corporate retreat (which typically takes place in January each year).
